He came round to do a guttering job for us and found a lot of other work that needed to be done. He did an excellent job and I felt his price was good. He was originally recommend to me by my mum a couple of years ago where he worked on her roof and went on to do 10 roofs on the same road as they were all of similar age. He always swept up at the end of the day and left the area clean and tidy. I recommended him to my neighbour who used him and my neighbour’s neighbour also used him. He’s working on a house 100yrds away from my house at the moment.

He’s been brilliant, unfortunately it was at the beginning of the year when the weather was atrocious, but his communication was great so if he could come over and do a couple of hours in between the rain he let us know and fitted it in. My husband has Parkinson’s so he also kept him well informed of when he was able to come round as he knew Don would be getting stressed about it. I can’t fault him, he went above and beyond for us and did a few extra jobs that weren’t on the original list. He removed our chimney breast and re-pointed our house. When he had finished, he noticed our soil pipe looked a bit old against the new re-pointing so he replaced that as well and he removed a flat roof and built a canopy over our bay window. I would recommend him to anyone.

I found Dave a fair person, any questions I asked he answered while he was doing my new roof and side roof on my extension. Nothing seemed to be a problem to him, he went above and beyond, he even did a few extra jobs that weren’t on his original quote for me when he was there. I can’t praise him and his crew high enough and I always recommend them to others.

Dave has done quite a lot for me - he reset the ridge tiles on my roof that needed doing when I moved into the property. He rendered the top bay window that was leaking and he re-pointed the bottom bay window. He replaced the lead with new lead where the flat roof joins the property. Dave and all the guys who work for him are polite and I feel perfectly safe with them all, which being a single lady is really important to me. All our neighbours use Dave as well so I don’t even get other quotes now as I know he will turn up, do a good job and I’ll feel ok with any of them being around the house. They don’t just turn up, do their job and go, if they are working for me and I need help with any heavy jobs, they make time to help with those as well. I even recommended them to my ex husband who now uses them. The next job they are doing for me is re-pointing the rest of the property which I have booked in for next spring.
