Can't speak highly enough of Matt and the D5 team. They just finished our extension and kitchen renovation and we're very pleased with the results. Matt's attention to detail and willingness to go above and beyond for the customer ensured the project finished ahead of schedule and exceeded our expectations. Matt was always happy to talk through any concerns we had and share his ideas and experience to help us make decisions about the smaller cosmetic stuff as well as the bigger things. D5 have recently built an extension to my bungalow which was completed within the promised time scale and followed exactly the detailed planned programme. The quality of work is excellent and as the client I was involved by D5 in discussions of every aspect of the build. The finished project has not only added to the useful and pleasing internal living space in my property but has greatly improved the look of the property from the street due to the skilful professional brick work and finish. Building work is by its very nature quite noisy and disruptive but D5 were considerate around their impact on others and spoke with neighbours on several occasions. D5 are able to offer an excellent service and also enable useful introductions to other trades which one can choose to interact with leading to most pleasing quality finishes inside and out. Family, friends and neighbours have commented on the major improvement to my property that D5’s work has achieved. I am most happy to recommend this company after my successful experience.

Used D5 construction for brickwork on our extension and I'm so pleased I did. The quality of there work is brilliant. Managed to squeeze are job into a weekend to help us out. I would definitely recommend them to anyone and will be definitely be using them again.

We've been really thrilled with D5 Construction and their work. As a follower of their Instagram, we've seen their daily project updates and completed work and had no hesitation these were the right guys to take on our garage conversion. Matt provided a program of what would happen each day during the project, who was coming and when and kept us updated with WhatsApp messages as well as regular weekly meetings. Each member of the team is a credit to D5. They provided high-quality work, they were polite, punctual, hard-working and crucially at the end of each day, tidied up. Even before any work was carried out they would take the time to lay floor protectors, they would have a vacuum ready to suck dust as it's being made and tidied as they went. We're now gearing up for a large rear extension and D5 are the only people we'd ever consider to do the work.

From initial point of contact right through to completion of the works, Matt and his team kept me up to date with all progress. I found the whole journey with Matt, Jon and Dave brilliant, couldn’t fault the professionalism of them. Not once did they stop from when they turned up in the morning to when they left in the evening. Absolutely thrilled with the work d5 construction have done for me from day 1 all the team where very respectful of my property and my neighbours property, they covered my driveway with boards and also the public path always tidied away every evening . The weather was a real challenge but they still cracked on with the job . Very reliable team the best Ive ever experienced before. The finished job is just amazing exceeded all our expectations. Matt and his team have recently completed an extension and internal and external refurbishment of our house in Solihull. In the interest of transparency, I should say that we already knew Matt socially before we hired his company as he is our son’s football coach; I was a bit nervous about using someone that we knew in case - frankly - something went wrong, but we asked Matt to quote alongside 2 or 3 others. Matt and his team were head and shoulders above every other builder who came to quote - for a start, he was the only builder who made notes as he went around our house about what we wanted and he was the only one who came back with a detailed line by line quote as opposed to a rough figure. Very early on in the process we hit a huge snag with our original plans in that there is a Severn Trent pipe running through our property (which we didn’t know about). This meant that we couldn’t build what we originally wanted and had to scale our plans back significantly. From Matt’s perspective, this meant that a project that he thought was going to keep him and his team busy for months was now stopping. Despite this, Matt and his team were always helpful and collaborative, we never felt on our own and the revised plan that we came up with was very much a joint enterprise. When we were finally back on track, Matt and his team also had great design ideas which have made a big difference to our home - for example, matching the shape of our island and skylight to the wedge shape of our kitchen, which looks amazing. Matt and his team were always helpful and friendly - we live in an area of Solihull with elderly neighbours and several of them (including people we didn’t know) approached us to say how nice the team were. I’d recommend D5 to anyone who is considering a similar project.
