At Quick Find Directories we do a rigorous check on all businesses who join our directories. This means, where possible, checking customer reviews, social media, legal qualifications and more depending on the type of business. A Quick Find Approved award is given to all businesses who are added to our directories as a sign of trust and reliability.
Checks occur when companies are added to our website by a member of the Quick Find Team. As part of the Quick Find Directories approval process we check all businesses for valid public liability insurance, business credentials, customer references and trade qualifications (where applicable). Further verification is obtained to ensure the company is financially stable and has no underlying adverse credit history.

L&BPS did superb work in September 2023 in a large, vacant house 100 miles from where I live. Insurers insisted on a fire-alarm soon after the start of a new policy. It had to be installed by professionals and monitored by a third-party control room, but they gave no other specification. I approached 11 companies, starting on a Saturday. L&BPS’ MD, Mark Childs, had answered by Sunday pm: “We can definitely help you …” A week later I had to set a deadline for quotes from 6 companies and for deciding between them. Only Mark grasped the insurers’ deadline and my decision timescale. He designed and explained a system based on his expert experience, the particular property, and relevant British Standards. Mark kept me informed throughout: testing signal-strength onsite, sourcing equipment, installing and testing kit, setting monitoring up. All this included out-of-hours work. Mark was committed to building the right system on time. The job could not have been done any better.

I contacted Mark to carry out a survey of our property and he came within a few days which was really nice. Most other companies take 2 - 3 weeks to give an appointment. he came promptly on the day agreed and carried out a full survey within 2 hours. We look forward to working with him to rectify the faults and also use him for our other properties. we found the quality of his work and time to complete very efficient.

Mark and his team carried out a number of upgrades and installations to our business property. We had previously used a different company who had not done a great job for us. Mark was very happy to mop up their mistakes, advise us on what needed to be done to comply with regulations and then carry out the work for us. As well as this, he is continuing to service our systems, is always on the end of the phone if we need something and does not charge ridiculous prices. We have been hugely pleased with Mark and his team and will continue to use and recommend his services.
