Here at Quick Find we promise to check and vet our advertisers before featuring them in our publications. And that is exactly what we do.
As a small team of local homeowners and busy parents ourselves, we place much importance in our vetting and checking procedures. We want to maintain the integrity of our publications. Providing everyone with helpful local business contacts that we can use ourselves (and we do!).

Like many of our readers, between going to work, looking after the kids and keeping the house running – there really isn’t much time to do anything else. We like to think our publications help out. Taking the time and stress out of finding local trusted traders and businesses.
So, how do we go about checking and vetting the local businesses?
Once an advertiser confirms their interest in Quick Find Directories we carry out multiple checks to ensure the integrity of their business.

Firstly, we run a credit check to confirm their identity. We make sure there are no CCJ’s or Bankruptcy cases involving the business. Credit checks are carried out before we even consider booking customers into our publications. In the past we have refused to feature advertisers based upon the results of a less than acceptable credit check. This is the first hurdle!

Next, we set about obtaining customer references. We speak to the traders’ previous customers to give us an honest review of their experience using this trader for workmanship, reliability and punctuality. We obtain no less than 10 customer references. Actually speaking to them ourselves, most of the time the customer is not even expecting a phone call!

Traders are asked to provide copies of their Public Liability Insurance and copies of any relevant qualifications or trade body memberships.

Advertisers who require certification with governing bodies in order to run their business (such as gas and electric) will be checked to ensure that is this in place before we place them in any directory*. 
How can you trust our checks? 
All of our 550 advertisers are re-checked each time they feature in a publication.

If qualifications or trade memberships have been lost, we ensure that they are up to date before they continue with us*. Feedback from homeowners, which is anything less than good will be investigated with the aim of helping resolve the matter. We have a zero tolerance policy regards workmanship that is not up to standard. We seldom have the need, however advertisers will be removed from the directory if we feel they are not providing the high standards we expect.

The whole existence of Quick Find lies in the fact we take time to personally check everything. Our publications ensure a layer of checks you won’t find in many of our competitors, search engines, or social media.

Ultimately, we won’t feature anyone in our books we do not feel comfortable using ourselves. This will always be the standard we will maintain. Should you encounter a problem, you should always contact us in the first instance to allow us to help bring the situation to an amicable conclusion.

Our Operations Manager Gwen is on hand to speak to customers and clients alike should a problem arise. Our transparency is what really sets us apart from our competitors, and will always continue to do so.
