Various Nature Themed Activities at The Parkridge Centre

The Parkridge Centre have plenty of nature themed activities for all ages on offer throughout the half term holidays. Follow the links below for more information on each of the different events!
Nature Families – Aimed at ages 0 to 4 years, indoor and outdoor drop in messy play sessions, with each week taking a new theme. 18th February – Morning Session / Afternoon Session
Wildlife watch activities for children aged 2+ include: Hibernating Hedgehogs, Frosty Fairies and Wintry Wizards and Teeny Tiny Den Building.
Wildlife watch activities for children aged 5+ include: Den Building
Other events for all ages include: Nature Tots at Parkridge – Sensory Explorer – Nature Tots encourages an early interest in wildlife, holding activities outdoors, in the natural surroundings of the reserve at The Parkridge Centre. 22nd February Morning Session / Afternoon Session
The Science of Power at The British Motor Museum

February half-term this year is all about exploring POWER and the science behind it at The British Motor Museum. With 'POWER' science shows, find the fastest car – family trail, and opportunities to build a 'K'nex Rocket' or make a 'Jet Powered Car' on certain days throughout the Half Term.
Half Term Family Fun at Sarehole Mill

Enjoy trails and craft for the children at Sarehole Mill this half term, activities are charged at £2 per child or included free with annual membership.

Half Term Activities at Blakesley Hall
Blakesley Road, Birmingham, B25 8RN
19th – 23rd February 2019
Blakesley Hall have a few activities on offer this half term including 2 craft days: Great Fire of London Craft Activity and  Suncatchers Craft Activity
Or maybe your little ones love meeting animals and creepy crawlies! Animal Mania usually consists of around 8 to 12 small animals that children can see and interact with in slots of 20 minutes. Booking ahead is advised due to limited spaces available.
Various Activities at Ryton Pools Country Park and Kingsbury Water Park
Ryton Pools Country Park and Kingsbury Water Park have plenty of exciting things to do this Half Term. Kingsbury Waterpark is offering den building and birdy bistro sessions. Ryton Pools will be holding Frosty Fairy Adventures to the Magic Kingdom, campfires, den building sessions, Pirate Blackbeard's Great Ruby Quest and making pine cone feeders.
Wild Explorers Holiday Club at All things Wild

Thomas and Friends February Half Term 2019 at Thomas Land

Thomas Land has many rides and attractions for the kids, including: Harold Helicopter Tours, Bertie Bus and Cranky Crane. Selected family favourite rides around the park are also open. There will be live shows on Knapford Station with the Fat Controller and friends and the 15-acre zoo is also open.

Dragon Hunts at Tamworth Castle

Tamworth Castle’s resident dragon, Ruby, and her brother Hafgrim, have gone missing. Whilst playing hide and seek they now appear to be lost! Visitors are invited to help search for the dragons and pick up some dragon facts along the way. Learn how to decorate the dragons den, identify the dragon eggs and brush up on your dragon hunting skills!

Half Term at Packwood House

In Your Element Family Show – Learn through explosions, fire and purple gas as to what we can find out from the beautiful collection of letters. This show is to celebrate the Year of the Periodic Table; 150 years after Dmitry Mendeleev first thought it up.

Family Lego sessions – Book into a LEGO Family Session where you and your family build together using Duplo and LEGO kits. The Session is designed to allow everyone the chance to build and be creative.
