West Midlands Beer Garden Guide 2019
It is starting to warm up and we are all thinking about basking in the sun, drink in hand. We have found plenty of amazing beer gardens for you to try out: sophisticated and historic to quirky and family-friendly, there's a beer garden suitable for everyone here!

Beer Gardens in Birmingham
The Lord Clifden
Known for their collection of Urban Street Art with the likes of Banksy;
The Lord Clifden in Birmingham has a ginormous beer garden.

The Distillery
The Distillery in Birmingham has been transformed into a gin bar and has a huge beer garden!
Located next to the canals it is the perfect too cool down on those gin and tonics.

Malt House
The Malt House situated along the canal side in Birmingham, Brindley Place,
is perfect for those summer vibes.

The Old Crown
This grade II listed building is the oldest secular building in Birmingham and has a
wonderful quirky beer garden to enjoy a cold beverage.

Pitcher and Piano
Canal side with beautiful views of Brindley Place, Birmingham. Sip on a cocktail of choice,
a beer it really doesn’t matter and have some fun in the sun.

The Button Factory
Situated in the heart of the Jewellery Quarter, Birmingham, The Button Factory has
restored a traditional building. Watch the world go by on their roof beer garden.

Beer Gardens in Harborne and Edgbaston
The Blue Piano
Located in a beautiful Edwardian building in Edgbaston, Birmingham, renowned for their eclectic
music collection, The Blue Piano have a picturesque beer garden with an abundance of flowers
and plants and during those hot summer months the live music events take place outside.

The Garden House

The Garden House in Edgbaston sits within three early 19th century homes,
tucked back from the road, behind a picturesque row of grand trees. An ideal haven in which

Physician
Formerly known as the BMI building used to house the Sampson Gangee Library

The Hinksford Arms

The Hinksford Arms is a traditional, family run pub located on the outskirts of Kingswinford
close to the small village of Swindon. Hosting a large beer garden at the rear of the pub,
with an excellent children’s play area as well as our BBQ Hut that’s open throughout the summer!
The Hinksford Arms is also dog friendly.
The Himley House
Located in the small Staffordshire village of Himley.
Once part of the Himley Hall Estate, the pub has a rich history and a beautiful setting
to relax and soak up the sunshine with a refreshing drink.

The Summerhouse

The Summerhouse in Sedgley, Dudley is known for quality food and drink,
as well as being nationally famous for the annual Christmas lights.
